This Commissioned Painting was created as a heartfelt gift from a daughter to her parents. It portrays their beloved maiden home – a place filled with her childhood memories of growing up with grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and siblings.
After decades of love and togetherness, the family is moving to a new place, making this painting a treasured keepsake of the home they all hold dear.
Working from multiple photographs and stories shared by the client, I pieced together details to recreate the house, even though I had never seen it in person. Every brushstroke reflects not just architectural accuracy, but the warmth, nostalgia, and emotional connection the family shares with this place.
When the client saw the final painting, she was moved to tears – a testament to how art can preserve the essence of a home and the memories it holds.
